Vivo has officially launched its latest tablet, the Vivo Pad 5, alongside the S30 series in China. It succeeds the Pad 5 Pro that debuted last month and caters to both entertainment and productivity needs. The device features a slim all-metal build, high-refresh-rate display, and runs on the latest Android 15-based OriginOS.

Vivo Pad 5 Specifications
The Vivo Pad 5 sports a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution of 3096 × 2064 pixels. The screen adopts a 16:10 aspect ratio, supports a 144Hz refresh rate, and delivers up to 900 nits of peak brightness. The tablet maintains a slim 6.62mm profile and weighs just 590 grams.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor built on a 4nm process. The chipset integrates the Immortalis-G720 GPU, enabling smooth performance across multitasking, gaming, and AI-powered productivity tools.
To keep thermals in check, the device is equipped with a 34200mm² superconducting 3D heat dissipation system, ensuring consistent performance during prolonged use. The base model uses UFS 3.1 storage, while higher variants use UFS 4.0. RAM options go up to 16GB LPDDR5X.
The tablet runs on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, customized specifically for large-screen use. It includes PC-grade WPS Office and a tailor-made CAJViewer for reading and editing academic journal files. These tools aim to replicate a desktop-like experience, catering to students and professionals alike.
For optics, the Vivo Pad 5 includes an 8MP rear camera for document scanning and occasional photography, while the front houses a 5MP camera for video calls and face recognition.
The device packs a massive 10,000mAh battery that Vivo claims can deliver up to 62 days of standby time. It supports 44W fast charging via USB Type-C.
The Vivo Pad 5 includes six high-fidelity speakers, delivering an immersive audio experience for movies, music, and video conferencing. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
