Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max has not been officially announced yet. The specs mentioned below are based on rumors.
This flagship device features a sleek design with a 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display offering 120 Hz refresh, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Ceramic Shield (2025 gen) protection. The screen resolution is 1320 × 2868 (~458 ppi) with a ~92.2% screen-to-body ratio. Running iOS 26, it’s powered by Apple’s 3 nm A19 Pro chipset with a hexa-core CPU and 6-core Apple GPU. Storage is NVMe with 12 GB RAM and options of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB.
The rear camera system has three 48 MP sensors: a wide with sensor-shift OIS, a periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and 3D sensor‑shift OIS, and an ultrawide. A TOF 3D LiDAR scanner enhances depth sensing. Video recording supports 4K up to 120 fps, Dolby Vision HDR (60 fps), ProRes, and 3D spatial video/audio.
The 24 MP front camera has PDAF, OIS, and SL 3D for Face ID, with Dolby Vision HDR and 3D audio. Stereo speakers deliver immersive sound. Connectivity includes tri-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS with multi-band support, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort.
Battery is Li-Ion with PD2.0 fast charging (50% in 30 min), 25 W wireless (MagSafe), Qi2 (15 W), and 4.5 W reverse wired charging. Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max also supports satellite SOS and Ultra Wideband (gen 2).
