Xiaomi and its sub-brand Redmi are gearing up to launch their next-generation flagship smartphones in China. While the Xiaomi 16 series is expected to debut by September, the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro are likely to be announced in October. Today, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station shared a new post on Weibo revealing key details about the Redmi K90 Pro.
Redmi K90 Pro key details leaked

According to the tipster, the Redmi K90 Pro will be a significant upgrade, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) platform. One of the standout changes is the addition of a periscope telephoto camera, which is a first for the K-series. To compare, last year’s Redmi K80 Pro featured only a standard telephoto lens.
Design-wise, the K90 Pro is said to feature a metal frame, symmetric dual speakers, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a large X-axis linear motor, all aimed at delivering a premium flagship experience.

A recent leak by DCS also revealed that the device will feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50Q periscope sensor with a 1/1.3-inch sensor size. In addition, reports suggest the K90 Pro will sport a 6.59-inch RGB OLED LTPS flat display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Redmi K90 Pro is expected to remain exclusive to China but may be rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra for global markets.
