Samsung has rolled out a press release to share an important update about its latest QLED TV range in India. As revealed by the South Korean tech giant, the company’s latest TVs now carry TUV Rheinland’s ‘Real Quantum Dot Display’ certification.
Samsung QLED panels achieve 100% color volume via TUV-certified Quantum Dot tech

Samsung’s upgraded QLED televisions are engineered to deliver consistent color accuracy and clarity, thanks to a dedicated Quantum Dot Sheet. This layer contains over 3,000 parts per million of quantum dot material, allowing the panel to achieve 100 percent color volume. Enhanced by AI-driven picture optimization, the display adapts frame-by-frame to maintain brightness and contrast, resulting in a rich, distortion-free viewing experience from any angle.
These new QLED models also address concerns around longevity and efficiency. The panel’s performance remains steady across varied lighting conditions, offering a long-lasting and energy-efficient solution for Indian households looking for high-quality smart TVs.
Samsung’s commitment to safety and sustainability is evident in its decision to remove cadmium from all its QLED panels. These TVs are RoHS compliant and SGS certified, highlighting their low environmental impact and long-term safety. The company has led cadmium-free quantum dot innovation for over a decade, making its displays safer for both users and the planet.

Adding to the secure experience is Samsung Knox, the company’s in-house security platform that safeguards user data at every level—hardware, software, and apps—ensuring worry-free streaming and browsing.
Samsung’s latest QLED range is now available across its official website, brand stores, and leading retail outlets nationwide, with prices starting from Rs 59,990 (~$700).
