TCL looks set to unveil a new addition to its NxtPaper lineup at IFA 2025, but the phone has already appeared online. An early listing on Amazon Germany revealed details about the TCL NxtPaper 60 Ultra 5G ahead of its expected debut on September 5. Surprisingly, Amazon Germany is already taking pre-orders ahead of the official launch.

According to the listing, the device will feature a gigantic 7.2-inch FHD+ NxtPaper display with a 120Hz refresh rate. TCL’s NxtPaper tech is designed to reduce glare and blue light, giving the screen a more eye-friendly, paper-like appearance.
Other specs include 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and Android 15 out of the box — an unusual move since Android 16 rolled out in June. The phone will ship in Nebula Black, unlocked with 5G support. Following the footsteps of Apple and Samsung, TCL only includes a USB-C cable in the box, skipping a power adapter. Battery capacity wasn’t mentioned, though the listing highlighted “long-lasting” performance.
The NxtPaper 60 Ultra seems aimed at the premium mid-range segment – the Amazon Germany listing asks for €479.99. That would put it up against phones like the Samsung Galaxy S24FE, though its larger 7.2-inch display makes it stand out for reading and productivity.

TCL has been pushing its NxtPaper technology as a unique alternative to standard OLED and LCD panels. Previous devices, such as the TCL 60 XE NxtPaper 5G, also emphasized visual comfort and occasionally included stylus support — something TCL could expand on at IFA.
Since the Amazon listing doesn’t go into much detail on the internals, readers can check a Colombian e-commerce listing that includes the full specifications.
