OnePlus is offering an early look at what its next flagship phone can capture. The company today shared its first batch of camera samples from the upcoming OnePlus 15, following the announcement that it’s ending its partnership with Hasselblad after five years.

The photos were shot at an 85mm focal length with an f/2.8 aperture and are meant to show the phone’s telephoto camera prowess. The OnePlus 15 also benefits from the LUMO imaging system, which Oppo introduced with the Find X8s series earlier this year.

From the samples, you can see vibrant colors, clear separation between subjects and backgrounds, and impressive detail retention, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Of course, camera samples released by companies are always carefully curated, so the real test will come when reviewers get the device in hand. Still, it will be interesting to see what the new partnership brings for OnePlus devices and their users. Also, the images above are compressed, so we suggest that you navigate to the source to see them in original quality.

The telephoto in question is a 50MP lens with 3x optical zoom, and will be accompanied by a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Not just the Hasselblad branding, OnePlus is also rumored to move on from its unique round camera module design on the back. It may feature a square module in the upper left corner instead.

Beyond this

Apart from this, the device is expected to feature a BOE display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It will be one of the first flagships to get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, likely paired with up to 12GB of RAM.

Software-wise, the OnePlus 15 will ship with Android 16 out of the box, as confirmed by Geekbench. Fueling the phone will be a 7000mAh battery that supports both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
