Oppo is gearing up to expand its tablet lineup with the Oppo Pad 5, and the company has finally confirmed that the launch is happening next month. The company’s Oppo Pad 4 Pro debuted in China with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip earlier this year, and now, a new Oppo Pad 5 flagship model is arriving soon.
Oppo Pad 5 Launch Date Revealed: What we know so far
The Chinese tech giant just shared a short teaser trailer that showcased the Oppo Pad 5. Looking at the video, it is clear that Oppo aims to make the Pad 5 a multimedia and productivity power house. Thanks to high end hardware, it can be seen opening a dozen apps with zero stutters and a large screen for both movies and professional work.

But unlike its predecessor, the brand is offering cutting edge performance by replacing the Qualcomm chip with a flagship MediaTek processor. While the teaser doesn’t confirm its specs or features, a previous leak hints that the Oppo Pad 5 will reportedly be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ SoC. It might sport a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel with a high 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, a massive 10,300mAh battery pack could power this tablet that could support 67W wired fast charging.
The Oppo Pad 5 is rumored to arrive in multiple storage configurations, namely 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The brand is expected to launch this tablet in multiple color options, including Purple, Silver, and Gray. This model will debut on 16th October 2025, alongside the brand’s flagship Oppo Find X9 series.
