Picture Quality

The projectors use BenQ’s Cinematic Color technology, covering 98 percent of the Rec. 709 color spectrum. They also include HDR-PRO, which combines global and local HDR adjustments for better contrast, more detail, and balanced brightness. With 3,000 ANSI lumens, both models can produce clear and vivid images even in daylight.

Gaming Features and Connections

For gaming, the TK705i and TK705STi support HDMI 2.1 with Auto Low Latency Mode and offer a 5 ms input lag at 4K/60 Hz. This makes them suitable for responsive play on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Both models come with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a USB-C port with 30W Power Delivery for connecting laptops, soundbars, or mobile devices.

Setup and Placement

Setup is simplified with 8-way Smart Image Adaptation, autofocus, auto-keystone correction, and zoom functions. The TK705i includes a motorized zoom lens that allows flexible placement. The TK705STi uses short-throw optics, which can project large images from a short distance, making it ideal for smaller rooms.

Pricing & availability

The BenQ TK705i is priced at €1,399 and the TK705STi at €1,599, both including VAT.
