Motorola Razr Fold has been officially announced on Jan. 7, 2026.
This foldable smartphone comes with a large 8.09-inch Foldable LTPO OLED main display that supports 1 billion colors, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and premium viewing features like Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The resolution stands at 2200 × 2480 pixels, delivering a sharp ~410 PPI for an immersive experience. On the outside, the 6.56-inch OLED cover display also supports 120Hz, making everyday use fast and fluid even when folded.
Running on Android 16, the device is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process. It features an octa-core CPU with two high-performance Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores clocked at 3.8GHz and six efficiency-focused Phoenix M cores at 3.32GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 840 GPU, ensuring top-tier performance for gaming, multitasking, and content creation.
Storage options include 256GB and 512GB UFS internal memory, with no card slot for expansion. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP wide sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 122-degree field of view. Video recording goes up to 8K at 30fps with Dolby Vision, along with 4K up to 120fps and advanced 10-bit HDR support.
For selfies, there’s a 20MP inner camera and a sharper 32MP cover camera capable of 4K video. Stereo speakers handle audio, while connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, multi-band GPS, and USB-C. Security is managed via a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Motorola Razr Fold is available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Lily White color options.
