After unveiling the Edge 70 Pro in April, Motorola has now unveiled the Edge 70 Pro+ in India. Being a Pro+ edition, it comes with some upgraded features like a periscope telephoto camera and wireless charging apart from inheriting most specs from the Edge 70 Pro. Here’s more in detail about the new variant.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ features a 6.8-inch Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED display with a 2772 x 1272 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness. The quad-curved panel also carries Pantone validation, SGS eye-care certification, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.

For photography, Motorola has equipped the phone with a quad 50-megapixel camera system. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x Super Zoom Pro, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro capabilities, and a 50-megapixel autofocus front camera. The camera setup supports 4K 60fps video recording and several AI-assisted imaging features.

The handset houses a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse charging. Motorola claims the battery can deliver up to 51 hours of usage on a single charge.

Additional features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H durability certification, Moto AI 2.0 features, Android 16-based Hello UI, and three Android OS upgrades alongside five years of security updates.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ price and availability

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ comes in a single 12GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs 47,999 ($500). Buyers can avail a Rs 3,000 bank discount or exchange benefits, bringing the effective price down to Rs 44,999. The smartphone will go on sale from June 11 via Flipkart, Motorola India’s website, and leading retail outlets.
