Realme has expanded its P-series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Realme P4R 5G. Key highlights include a large 8,000mAh battery, a 144Hz display, and the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The smartphone will be available through Flipkart and Realme’s online store starting later this month.
Realme P4R 5G specifications and features
The Realme P4R 5G features a 6.8-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (1570 x 720 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel offers up to 1,200 nits of high brightness mode (HBM) brightness and is protected by Panda-1681 glass.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Buyers can choose from 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 6GB+256GB variants, while storage expansion is also supported.
For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP rear camera featuring autofocus and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The camera app includes features such as Night Mode, Street Mode, Cinematic Video, Dual-view Video, Time-lapse, Pro Mode, Tilt-shift, and Google Lens integration.
One of the key highlights of the device is its 8,000mAh battery, which is among the largest in its segment. It supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging and is compatible with VOOC, PD, QC, and PPS charging protocols. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C connectivity, OTG support, and dual-SIM 5G support.
The handset measures approximately 166.4 x 78.2 x 8.8mm and weighs around 224 grams. For durability, the device comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance certification and offers an IP65 level of dust and splash resistance.
Realme P4R 5G price and availability
The Realme P4R 5G is priced at Rs 18,999 (~$200) for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs 20,999 (~$220) for the 6GB+128GB model, and Rs 22,999 (~$240) for the 6GB+256GB version. It comes in Lavender Glare, Titanium Glare, and Silver Glare color options.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail a Rs 2,000 bank discount along with up to three months of no-cost EMI. With the introductory offer applied, the effective prices drop to Rs 16,999, Rs 18,999, and Rs 20,999, respectively. The offer pricing will be available for the first 12 hours of sale. The first sale is scheduled for June 17 via Flipkart and Realme.com.
