The Honor X80 Pro Max will be unveiled in China on June 22 at 7:00 PM local time. The device has already appeared on online retail platforms, confirming multiple storage options, including 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 512GB and 12GB + 512GB variants. Buyers will be able to choose from four colour options: Lightning Red, Black Armour, Moon Shadow White and Vitality Orange.

The biggest talking point is the 11,000mAh battery, which Honor says is the largest ever fitted inside one of its smartphones. The device will support 90W wired charging, helping reduce charging times despite the enormous battery capacity. The image below also confirms support for 27W wired reverse charging, allowing the handset to charge compatible accessories and other devices.

Official teasers and retailer listings indicate that the Honor X80 Pro Max will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2788 x 1280 pixels. The panel is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming for improved viewing comfort during prolonged use.
Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. Honor is also placing strong emphasis on durability, with the handset expected to offer IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K-rated dust and water resistance. The company has additionally highlighted enhanced drop protection and a complimentary screen replacement programme for eligible accidental damage cases during the coverage period.
