Oppo is expanding its quirky Bubble selfie screen to iPhone users, giving people a stylish new way to take better photos and add some personality to their phones. Originally launched as a magnetic accessory for Oppo phones, the Bubble is now officially getting iPhone compatibility. You can pre-order it now, with sales starting on July 6. It’s priced at 499 Yuan, roughly $70-75 USD.

So what exactly is it? It’s a small, thin circular AMOLED screen (about 1.73 inches) that magnetically sticks to the back of your phone. It shows a live preview from the rear camera, so you can frame your shots properly, check lighting, and get better expressions instead of struggling with the front camera. You can even trigger the shutter from up to 10 meters away wirelessly. The built-in 550mAh battery keeps it going for roughly 9.66 hours, and at just 27.5g and 7mm thick, it’s surprisingly lightweight.

Beyond the practical side, it also works as a fashion accessory. You can pair it with special cases and use it as a bag charm or decorative piece. The screen lets you set custom wallpapers, static or animated, so it can match your outfit or mood. Oppo calls this “Mag E-Badge” mode, basically turning it into a dynamic personal statement.

The Bubble was first introduced with Oppo’s Reno and Find X series, but this new version adds support for iPhone X and newer models running iOS 15.0 or higher. It uses a MagSafe-like magnetic attachment and comes with a companion app, which should make it pretty easy to use across ecosystems.

There are a few similar gadgets out there (like Insta360’s Snap), but Oppo’s version stands out with its thin design, solid wireless range, and strong focus on customization.

The OPPO Bubble is currently available in China for 499 yuan (around $70–75) and in select global markets.
