Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro has been officially announced on July 2, 2026.
The tablet features a 13MP rear camera with HDR, panorama support, and 4K video recording at 30fps. A 9MP front camera handles selfies and video calls while supporting 1080p video recording. Camera hardware is designed for casual photography, online meetings, and content creation rather than professional imaging.
A 9.06-inch LTPO OLED display delivers 1504 × 2400 resolution with approximately 313 ppi pixel density. The panel supports a 185Hz refresh rate, HDR, 1 billion colors, and up to 1600 nits peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an impressive display make the tablet well suited for gaming and media consumption.
Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro runs Android 16 with Redmagic OS 11.5 and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Its octa-core processor works alongside the Adreno 840 GPU clocked at 1.3GHz for flagship-level performance. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro, paired with up to 16GB RAM.
An 8300mAh battery powers the tablet and supports 80W wired fast charging with bypass charging support. The body measures 207.1 × 134.2 × 6.9 mm, weighs 363 grams, and uses an aluminum frame. A glass front, aluminum back, and aviation-grade construction provide a premium and durable design.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual USB Type-C ports, DisplayPort, and magnetic connector pins. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner works alongside the gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and proximity sensor. Stereo speakers with Snapdragon Sound deliver an enhanced audio experience during gaming and entertainment.
The tablet is splash resistant and includes RGB lighting on the rear for a gaming-inspired appearance. It does not support NFC, GPS, or cellular connectivity, focusing instead on Wi-Fi usage. The device is available in Eclipse Black and Starfrost Silver color options.
