There have been reports that Honor’s futuristic Robot Phone, first showcased at MWC 2026, will be unveiled in China this August. The handset has now secured two important certifications, indicating that the launch timeline remains on track. Here’s a look at the latest developments and what they reveal about the upcoming flagship.

Honor Robot Phone 3C, MIIT certified

An Honor smartphone carrying the model number APH-AN00 has appeared on China’s MIIT and 3C certification platforms. This device is said to be the upcoming Honor Robot Phone. While the MIIT listing does not disclose any hardware details, its appearance confirms that the device has moved one step closer to launch.

The accompanying 3C certification reveals that the handset could ship with a 120W fast charger, suggesting that Honor is preparing flagship-grade charging speeds for the device. Although certification platforms rarely reveal complete specifications, the latest listings strongly indicate that the Robot Phone is progressing towards its expected August announcement.

According to recent information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Robot Phone could feature a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch flat display offering a 1.5K resolution and ultra-slim bezels on all four sides. The device is also tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and may pack a battery of around 6,000mAh, placing it firmly in the premium flagship category.

The camera setup is expected to be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. The leak suggests a 200-megapixel main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, 23mm focal length and 4D gimbal stabilization. It could also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, with Honor’s Ailai imaging technology expected to enhance the photography experience.
