Motorola rushed to announce its Android 17 beta program in February. It happened just days after Google released the first beta, and later, the beta applications were also opened for over a dozen phones. However, the company struggled to release the beta update for any of those devices until recently.
Motorola Signature was the first phone to receive the Android 17 beta update last week, which was later expanded to the affordable Moto G57 Power and Edge 70, as reported by Ytechb. The update package has a download size of around 4GB, and is currently rolling out in limited regions, including India, Brazil, and EMEA, with expansion to other regions likely to follow soon.

Motorola should expand the beta rollout to other supported devices over the coming days and weeks. You can review the official MFN Beta Testing page to see all eligible devices for the beta program.
To check the latest updates on your Motorola phone, go to Settings > System updates, then tap Check for updates. Note that update rollouts usually happen in batches, so it can take a few days to reach all users.
The first Android 17 beta build introduces some major visual upgrades, including new clock faces for the lock screen, an updated notification panel and control center, a new volume mixer, and an updated Settings page. The Live Activities feature now also works with calls, music, and torch. Furthermore, the update brings an improved app drawer and better animations.
