Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 was officially released on July 22, 2026.
For the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 5G, the phone measures 166.9 × 75.4 × 6.1 mm unfolded and 85.7 × 75.4 × 13.1 mm folded, weighing 180g. It has a glass back with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an aluminum frame, along with IP48 dust and water resistance. It supports Nano-SIM + eSIM + eSIM, with a maximum of two active SIMs at a time.
The display is a 6.9-inch Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness. It has a resolution of 1080 × 2520 pixels and around 400 ppi. The cover display is a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display with a resolution of 948 × 1048 pixels and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The phone runs Android 17 with One UI 9 and is promised up to 7 major Android OS updates. Depending on the region, it comes with either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600. The Snapdragon variant uses an octa-core CPU with up to 4.74GHz, while the Exynos version has a 10-core CPU. Storage options are 256GB and 512GB, both with 12GB RAM and UFS 4.x storage. There is no microSD card slot.
For cameras, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with a 1/1.57-inch sensor, dual-pixel PDAF and OIS, along with a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera offering a 123° field of view. It supports 4K video recording at 30/60fps, 1080p at up to 240fps, and HDR10+ video. The front camera is 10MP f/2.2, capable of recording up to 4K at 30/60fps.
Audio is handled by stereo speakers, with no 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BDS, along with NFC. It also supports Samsung DeX and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, compass and barometer. The USB port is USB Type-C 3.2 with OTG support.
The phone has a 4,300mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery, with 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. It is available in Graphite, Cream, Pink and Mint.
