Motorola has been actively testing Android 17 on select devices, and now the company has announced which of its devices are eligible for the stable rollout. The list includes over 50 models across the premium Razr lineup, the mid-range Edge series, and the more affordable Moto G series.
Unlike other brands, Motoroal doesn’t publish a list of eligible devices but updates OS details for each model on its dedicated page on the official website. Folks at Ytechb went through those prepared and prepared a list we’ve attached below.

That’s over 50 Motorola devices eligible for the Android 17 upgrade. For the Edge 60 Neo, the relevant support page on the official website doesn’t confirm the eligibility. However, it should be a yes, as the device is eligible for five major Android OS upgrades (up to Android 20).
Motorola isn’t considered a reliable brand for timely software releases, but it has made significant improvements in recent years. Take Android 16, for example: the rollout was quicker than previous years, and the company is looking to speed things up this year.
The company began accepting beta applications for Android 17 just days after Google released Android 17 Beta 1. Surprisingly, the beta program wasn’t limited to a few models like many brands do. Motorola kept expanding its reach and even added many budget Moto G-series models.
To everyone’s surprise, Motorola has already begun sending out the stable Android 17 update. It’s the Motorola Edge 2025 getting the first bite, and the rollout should continue to expand to more devices in the coming weeks.
