Motorola Moto G77 has been officially released on Jan. 29, 2026.
It has a glass front with Gorilla Glass 7i, a plastic frame, and an eco-leather back, weighing 182 grams. The IP64 rating protects against dust and water splashes, while MIL-STD-810H compliance adds durability. At just 7.3 mm thick, it is notably slim and lightweight, with support for either Nano-SIM plus eSIM or dual Nano-SIM, depending on configuration.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED display offers 1272 x 2772 resolution, around 450 ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, 1B colors, and HDR support. With up to 5000 nits peak brightness, it should remain highly visible outdoors. Gorilla Glass 7i with Mohs level 4 protection adds durability, while the combination of AMOLED, high resolution, HDR, and 120Hz makes it particularly strong for media consumption.
The Dimensity 6400 chipset uses a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Motorola Moto G77 is available with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB internal storage, with microSDXC expansion through the shared SIM slot. Performance should be comfortable for everyday applications, multitasking, streaming, social media, and casual gaming, although demanding gaming is not its primary focus.
The dual-camera system combines a 108MP main sensor with PDAF and OIS with an 8MP ultrawide camera offering a 119-degree field of view. Video recording reaches 1440p at 30fps and 1080p at up to 60fps with gyro-EIS. The 32MP selfie camera supports 1440p at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps, while HDR, panorama, and dual-LED flash are also available.
Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio provide a strong multimedia setup, although there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. FM radio availability is unspecified. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and compass are also included.
The 5200 mAh battery is relatively modest compared with many large-battery competitors, but the slim 7.3 mm body and low 182-gram weight make the device much easier to carry. It supports 30W wired charging, providing a useful balance between charging speed and portability. For users prioritizing a slim design, AMOLED display, cameras, and everyday performance, the overall package is well-rounded.
