ZTE RedMagic Astra 2 has been officially released on June 30, 2026.
The tablet measures 207.1 x 134.2 x 6.9 mm and weighs 363 g, combining a glass front with an aluminum frame and back. Its aviation-grade aluminum construction adds durability, while IP54 certification protects against dust and water splashes. An RGB rear light also gives the device a distinctive gaming-oriented appearance during everyday use.
The 9.06-inch OLED display delivers a sharp 1504 x 2400-pixel resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 313 ppi density. ZTE RedMagic Astra 2 supports a very smooth 185Hz refresh rate, HDR, and brightness reaching 1600 nits peak. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the panel, while one billion colors help produce vibrant, detailed and fluid visuals.
Powered by Android 16 with Redmagic OS 11.5, the tablet uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 840 GPU. Storage options include 256GB with 12GB RAM, 512GB with 16GB RAM, and 1TB with 16GB RAM, using fast UFS 4.1 Pro storage for demanding gaming workloads.
The tablet features a 13MP rear camera and a 9MP front camera, with rear video recording up to 4K at 30fps. Four speakers provide stereo audio with Snapdragon Sound support, while dual USB-C ports add DisplayPort connectivity. Its 8300mAh battery supports 75W wired charging and bypass charging, making it well suited to extended gaming sessions.
