iQOO will hold a launch event to unveil the iQOO 16 by the end of this month or early October. Apart from announcing the performance-focused flagship, the brand will also introduce a new compact tablet powered by the latest Snapdragon 8-series chip. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station released the following Weibo post to confirm its final moniker.

iQOO Pad Ultra details leaked

DCS claims that the company’s forthcoming compact tablet will be called the iQOO Pad Ultra. He further revealed that the device will be equipped with an 8.8-inch OLED panel and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chipset.

The Pad Ultra is also said to have an active cooling fan for sustained performance. Other reported specifications include a large 9,000mAh battery and a square-shaped camera deco with a vent opening.

The device will be available in Shadow Black and Star Armor Silver color options. It will also have support for some accessories for an elevated gaming experience.

iQOO Pad Ultra 3C listing

Speculation is rife that the iQOO device with model number iPA2691, which has already appeared on Chinese certification platforms like SRRC and 3C, could be the iQOO Pad Ultra. The 3C listing has revealed that the device may support 66W fast charging. It also suggests that the tablet could be available only in W-Fi version, meaning it will not have SIM support.
