Xiaomi has opened pre-sales for the Redmi TV X RGB-Mini LED 2027 Competition Edition in China. The new model follows the Redmi TV X 2026, which brought standard Mini LED panels to the series. It will officially go on sale on October 12, starting at 2,705 yuan (about $400).

The new TV uses an RGB-Mini LED backlight, with separate red, green, and blue light sources. Xiaomi says this design cuts overall power consumption by 30%. The panel covers 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut, has a color accuracy of around ΔE≈2, and reaches up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness.

Xiaomi has also updated the TV’s nano-soft light screen. It uses an AG nano-texture to reduce glare and reflections, while the company’s Qingshan Eye Protection feature is designed to make longer viewing sessions easier on the eyes.

The display has a native 180Hz refresh rate, which can be increased to 360Hz when Competition Mode is enabled. For connectivity, the TV has three HDMI ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports. HDMI 2 also supports eARC. Other connections include two USB ports, with one supporting USB 3.0, along with Ethernet, AV, ATV/DTMB, and optical S/PDIF.

Hardware and software

The Redmi TV X RGB-Mini LED 2027 Competition Edition runs on a five-core Cortex-A55 processor paired with a Mali-G52 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, giving it 1GB less RAM than the Redmi TV X 2026.
