The said smartphone, carrying model number 2609CPC5FG, has received approval from Singapore’s IMDA authority. It was previously spotted on Europe’s EEC and IECEE certification platforms, although these listings did not disclose its hardware details. Back in August, the said device was spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 16.

According to XimiTime report, the 2609CPC5FG device will be called the Poco X8s when it hits the market. The moniker suggests that the device could sit between the standard Poco X8 and the Pro models, although its final positioning is not yet known. While Poco has yet to officially acknowledge the device, its recent sightings suggest that it may go official soon.
According to the publication, the device will be aimed at select markets including the European Economic Area, Turkey, Russia, and China. An Indian launch is reportedly not planned, while the Chinese variant is said to carry model number M583CF. It is likely to carry a Redmi branding when it hits the home market.
