Back in July, Acer unveiled the Sospiro A15, a dual-display smartphone featuring an additional screen on the back. The brand’s Latin American (LATAM) division has now announced another phone with a similar design. Unlike the A15, which was a 4G LTE offering, the A70 comes with support for 5G connectivity. Here’s everything you need to know about the Sospiro A70.

The Acer Sospiro A70 features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display with a 720 x 1600-pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop-style notch. Its secondary 1.88-inch rear display has a 240 x 284-pixel resolution and uses TFT technology. The smaller screen lets users preview their appearance and frame selfies using the primary rear camera, making the dual-display design useful for photography.

For imaging, the smartphone features a 64-megapixel rear camera with an AI sensor and LED flash, alongside a 16-megapixel front camera with its own flash. The rear display can help users compose selfies using the higher-resolution main camera rather than relying on the front-facing sensor.

The phone runs Android 16 and is powered by the Unisoc T8200 chip, which brings support for 5G. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with virtual RAM support adding up to 12GB for a combined advertised memory capacity of 20GB. Storage can be expanded by up to 1TB using a microSDXC card.

A 5,000mAh battery with fast charging powers the device. Connectivity options include 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, it comes with features like facial recognition and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 165.95 x 77.1 x 8.35mm and weighs 210 grams, and also offers an IP64-level of dust and water-resistance.
