Honor has revealed the starting price for the Win 2 less than a week before its official launch in China. Guan Haitao, the company’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, shared a poster today showing a price of 5,499 yuan after national subsidies. These subsidies are government-backed discounts intended to encourage consumer spending on eligible products, including electronics, with the discount applied to the purchase price. The regular price will therefore be higher, although Honor hasn’t revealed the exact figure yet.

The phone will launch on October 21 at the Honor Win Gaming Universe Carnival in China.

How it compares with the first Honor Win

The original Honor Win launched last year with a 10,000mAh battery, a 185Hz display, and a built-in cooling fan. The Win 2 retains the same basic setup but increases the battery capacity to 10,100mAh, adds a second cooling fan, and upgrades the processor. The display refresh rate remains unchanged at 185Hz.

Honor Win 2 Design and Price Out

Pre-orders for the Honor Win 2 series are already open in China. The store listing also includes the Honor Win RT 2 and Honor Win Turbo 2. Buyers can choose from three colors for the Win 2: Quick Black, Designated Win, and Red/Blue Buff.

Honor will sell the phone in five memory and storage configurations:

  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
  • 16GB RAM + 256GB storage
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage
  • 16GB RAM + 512GB storage

Honor hasn’t announced the price of each configuration yet. The rear design features a horizontal matrix Deco layout with vertical edges and RGB lighting next to the cooling fan, while the back cover has a cloud-like pattern.

Availability

The Honor Win series has so far remained exclusive to China, and the company hasn’t confirmed whether the Win 2 will launch in other markets. Honor is also expected to unveil the Honor Win Tablet at its October 21 event.
