Xiaomi recently launched the new Xiaomi Pad 9 series tablets in China, and some of these models are expected to release globally. Before that, it appears the company’s sub-brand Redmi may launch the Redmi Pad 3 (4G) as a successor to the Redmi Pad 2 (4G), which launched in June 2025. The Pad 3 has bagged a couple of new certifications, indicating that its launch is around the corner.

Redmi Pad 3 (4G) key specs emerge

As per an AndroidTreasure report, Redmi Pad 3 4G with model number 26104RPF2G have been approved by the NCC (Taiwan) and NBTC (Thailand) authorities in the recent past. While the NBTC listing confirms its moniker, it does not reveal anything significant. On the other hand, the NCC listing reveals three memory configurations, 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, along with microSD card support of up to 2TB.

Its BN90 battery has a rated capacity of 9,820mAh on the TÜV Rheinland database, which means a typical capacity of 10,000mAh, up from 9,000mAh on the Redmi Pad 2. The listing also includes the 15W MDY-18-EJ charger in the box and mentions a separate 33W MDY-16-EH adapter, so faster charging could be possible with a compatible charger.

The tablet sticks to 4G with VoLTE and also supports Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), but not Wi-Fi 6E. It carries an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

To recall, last year’s Redmi Pad 2 (4G) has an 11-inch 2.5K LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chipset. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 9,000mAh battery with 18W charging and four speakers with Dolby Atmos.
