The Vivo S70 has its first specs leaked. A few days after a tipster suggested a November launch in China, Digital Chat Station has shared details about the phone’s display, processor, and camera.
The phone reportedly has a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It uses LTPS technology, and the panel is said to come from Visionox. Worth noting is that the screen size is the same as the Vivo S60.
Under the hood, the Vivo S70 is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. This is a natural upgrade over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 inside the Vivo S60.

The camera hardware could see a more noticeable change. According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo S70 will have a 64MP Sony LYT-610 periscope telephoto camera with around 3x optical zoom.
For comparison, the Vivo S60 has a 50MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, meaning the new model could offer a higher-resolution sensor without changing the zoom range significantly.
There’s also a possible teleconverter accessory in the works, but specifics remain in the shadows. Vivo has so far offered this type of accessory with its X-series flagships.
An earlier leak from Smart Pikachu claimed that only one brand among the mid-range phones launching in November would offer a large-sensor periscope camera with teleconverter support. If the latest details are true, the Vivo S70 could be the phone in question.
Vivo S70 prototypes reportedly had a rear screen
Digital Chat Station also revealed in the comments that early engineering prototypes of the Vivo S70 included a rear screen; however, Vivo later dropped the feature, so the final retail model is not expected to have one.
Vivo has yet to announce the S70 officially, and several details remain unknown, including its battery capacity, charging speed, price, and exact launch date.
