Samsung has been internally testing One UI 9.5 on multiple Galaxy devices for quite a while now. That’s a routine development process, but what just showed up strongly suggests the public One UI 9.5 beta program could launch much sooner than anyone was expecting.
Samsung Members app shows a new beta program banner at the bottom of the app’s homescreen that allows users to participate in One UI beta programs. The beta banner has got a new design with modern appeal.
The updated beta banner inside the Samsung Members app doesn’t reveal anything, but it strongly suggests the company may be preparing for a public One UI 9.5 beta anytime soon.
1. Samsung is already testing One UI 9.5 for non-flagship models
2. Samsung has updated these devices to Android 17
One UI 9.5 development has progressed quicker than last year
Samsung has been quicker with One UI 9.5 development compared to last year’s One UI 8.5. The first One UI 8.5 internal builds for the Galaxy S25 series were spotted in September 2025, while the One UI 9.5 firmware for the Galaxy S26 series first appeared in early August 2026.
The company has also been quick to expand the One UI 9.5 internal testing to more Galaxy devices, as the list now includes over a dozen phones. If the developments continue at the same pace, we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung announces the One UI 9.5 beta program in early November — a month earlier than the One UI 8.5 beta. That would make sense if rumors of an early Galaxy S27 launch are true.
Everything is based on speculations for now until we hear an official confirmation from the brand. Stay tuned for more updates.
