Xiaomi’s REDMI brand has just teased its first open-ear earphones, the Clip Neo. They’re launching on October 27 alongside the K100 smartphone.

Official posters show a clean, open-ear design meant to keep you aware of your surroundings while still delivering solid sound. Pre-orders are already live in China, and they’ll come in two colors: Pearl White and Zero Black.

Inside each bud is a 12 mm dual-magnetic dynamic driver. REDMI is talking up a high-performance dual-magnet setup, a “diamond-like” coated diaphragm, and a dedicated bass-enhancement algorithm.
You get four preset EQ profiles plus a full 10-band custom equalizer if you want to tweak things yourself. Because they’re open-ear, ambient sound stays available, handy for outdoor walks, commuting, or any situation where you don’t want full isolation.
Comfort seems to be a big focus. REDMI lists six key technologies here. Each earbud weighs just 5.3 g. There’s a biomimetic curved shape and a precise 3.4 mm “golden” clip distance that’s supposed to give a secure but gentle hold.
The contact points use skin-friendly liquid silicone, and there’s a 0.6 mm memory titanium wire for flexibility and durability. A nice everyday touch: no left or right distinction, so you can drop them into the case without worrying about which side is which.
This looks like REDMI’s more accessible take on the clip-on category that Xiaomi itself entered earlier in 2026 with a similar open-ear model. The emphasis on ultra-light weight, decent driver hardware, and practical ergonomics suggests REDMI is aiming at everyday users who want comfortable, awareness-friendly wireless audio. Expect more teasers as we get closer to the October 27 launch. It will probably be priced more competitively than the Xiaomi-branded clip-on earbuds.
