Design:

With metal body, the Voopoo Vinci X Mod Pod looks clean. The main colors black with the honeycomb pattern design make the Vinci X mystically. As the premium material, the Vinci X is a bit heavier than most of the other vapes.

Let’s take a look at the front side. You can see a Fire button first. Actually, there is a 0.96-inch TFT screen placed below the fire button, if you don’t turn on the device, it is hard to see the screen. The increase button, the decrease button and an USB port are vertically arranged on the screen below.

On the other side, the well-marked VOOPOO logo is set on the middle. The Vinci X supports removable battery which is installed from the bottom.

The capacity of Vinci pod is about 5.5ml (standard edtion) and 2ml (EU edition). The coil included in the package has two kinds of resistance, which are 0.3ohm and 0.6ohm. By the way, the resistance range of the Vinci X is around 0.1ohm to 3.0ohm.

Performance:

The build quality of Voopoo Vinci X Mod Pod is better than most of the other vapes. The X pod has a suitable sense of the weight, and the handheld feeling is good and comfortable. The honeycomb pattern design on the side is special and prominent.

The pod is shipped with the Vinci X device in one package, and it is easy for users to fill e-liquid. The operation step is very easy, and there is no oil leaking. Like most of the vapes selling on the market, the Vinci X mod pod adopts magnetic base in both directions to connect the device and the pod. It has stronger magnetic attraction than the others, which makes sure that the pod will not fall off easily in the process of use.

There are two coils with different resistance in the package, and they support plug and play.

Before using the Vinci X mod pod, you should prepare an 18650 mAh battery which is the Vinci X mod pod fueled by. Removable battery provides a very convenient experience. There are various projectors selling on the market. Some of them are too expensive, and some of them are not so good. Recently, we have got a projector called Vankyo V600 Projector, which can up to 1080p resolution with the budget price. Let’s check out the review.

Design:

The Vankyo V600 Projector has a rectangular design with aluminum finish having a clean and simple look. There is a carrying bag comes with the projector which makes you to take it out easily.

Take a look at the top side of the V600 Projector. Once you look at this side, you will notice a knob which controls the focus and the key stone. On the right corner, there are night function buttons for manual control. The remote control is shipped with this projector, but the function buttons can replace it in case the remote control fails.

The lens with its cover is set on the front. I like the cover that can prevent the lens from dust. The air vent is set at the left side.

On the rear side, there are some ports set at the top left corner, including VGA port, IR port, two USB ports and two HDMI ports. The speaker and the power input port is placed below the function ports.

The Vankyo V600 projector supports external storage, and the SD card slot is put on the right side. Beside the SD card slot, there is an AV input port and audio output port.

Performance:

The setup process for the Vankyo V600 is simple, and it is easy for you to start it following the manual. There are four types input source—VGA connection, HDMI connection, USB and SD card connection. The projector supports smartphone connection, but you need to prepare an lightning/Micro USB/Type C to HDMI adapter, which is not included in the package, to complete the connection. I hope these adapters can be included in the package, in my opinion.

The Vankyo claims that the V600 projector supports 1080p resolution. We play a video coming with 1080p with the V600 projector, and it performs well. In the test, the projector was placed on the table 6.5ft from the wall, and the image size is about 60-inch. In terms of image quality, I think it is definitely reach to 1080p. The image is sharp and clear, and its brightness is such enough. By the way, we don’t make any adjustments to the default settings.

There are two images below. The first one is in the light condition, and the second is leaving the lights off. Obviously, the brightness of the second image is higher than the first image. But from the bottom of my heart, the brightness of the first image is quite good.

We also tried to place the projector further away from the wall. Compared with the closer distance, the image quality has a degree amount of distortion and the brightness is low.

The volume is loud enough in a small room, and the sound quality is not the best, but it’s good. If you are not a big fan of sound quality, you can accept it.

We test the V600 projector with the SD card connection. The projector reaction speed is fast, and the video is playing smoothly. But the SD card is so hot when I take it out. When the projector is running, the volume of the radiator is a little bit loud. But obviously, the radiator system should be improved.

Xiaomi released its latest TWS earphones, called Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2, several days ago. As the advanced version of Xiaomi Airdots, we were looking for to the new earbuds. I have used it for a few days, and so let’s do a short review now.

Unboxing:

There is Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 earbuds, a charging case, Type-C charging cable and a manual in the package.

Design:

The Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 comes in a basic retail box with a charging case, which has a simple look. Different from its previous generation, the Airdots Pro 2 adopts semi-ear design, while the Airdots chooses an in-ear design. In my opinion, I’m not really a big fan of the design of the Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 TWS Earphones.

Coming in pure white design, the charging box has a clean look. You will notice the indicator placed at the middle.

On the right side, there is a function key, which can control the earbud’s connection.

The Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 supports Type-C charging, and the port is set at the bottom.

After opening the lid, I was disappointed. There is a gap between the Airdots 2 and the charging box. Actually, it looks a bit cheap.

In addition, the charging case lid adopts the magnetic suction structure, which is firm and sturdy. However, the charging box has more edges and corners than the Xiaomi Airdots. For me, I prefer the round design than the sharp design.

Overall, it’s really a compact design coming in a very small size. You to carry the charging case everywhere and easily put it into your pocket.

The Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 comes with a virtual button, which is easy to operate. Like most of the TWS earphones, the Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 supports phone call mode, music mode and voice assistant wake-up. Compared with those TWS earphones with a physical button, you can just touch the Airdots Pro 2’s virtual key on the earbuds gently to operate. On the contrary, with the physical button, you would have had to press it a bit hard. And your ears would have felt that pressure.

In the phone call mode, quick touch 2 times on either side of the earbuds to hang up or answer the phone. In the music mode, touch the right earbud 2 times means play/ pause, and touch the left earbud 2 times to wake up the voice assistant. Taking off one earbud can stop the music.

Running on Bluetooth 5.0, the Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 TWS Earphones has solid wireless connection in a range of around 10 meters.

Performance:

The Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 TWS earphones have medium acoustic fidelity, lacks high-frequency volume and not strong enough in low-frequency volume.

In the low-frequency volume, it’s not so punchy in the bass to surprise my ears, so the Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 doesn’t have the much powerful thumping effect.

In the high-frequency volume, it has a little sound distortion but the voices are crystal clear.

Basically, the earbuds are good for vocal songs but don’t expect much in terms of bass.

About the audio sync performance, it lags at around 0.5 seconds, especially when playing games. It is not so suitable to play those games which rely much on the real-time stereo, like PUBG mobile. Also, the Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 has a poor noise-canceling, which isn’t a surprise.

The battery life of Xiaomi Airdots Pro 2 Earbuds is about 4 hours, which can be used for about 14 hours with the charging case. It is good, but not so outstanding.

With the 663g empty weight, the G6 Plus gimbal is smaller than most of the camera gimbals, and just a bit bigger than phone gimbals. You can notice that some buttons and a small screen at the grip, and you can do all the controls through the grip, which is convenient and handy. It is easy to start your filming. Install the battery and have a full charged at first. And then install your device in the place with screw. After adjusting the balance, you can press and hold the power button until the Feiyu logo appears. And then you can choose a shooting mode you like through the joystick.

Let’s look at the grip. There are three buttons below the small display, from the top to the bottom, they are a joystick, a function button and a shutter button. On the left side, there is a multifunction knob, which can control the zoom and follow focus of camera.

On the right side, you will notice the setting button and a micro USB port.

Move your eyes to the rear side, an adjustment function button directing camera, and a trigger button is set on here.

Performance:

The Feiyu G6 Plus Gimbal supports 5 shooting modes including a panning mode, a lock mode, a follow mode, selfie switch and an auto-rotation mode. The switch way for these modes is pretty easy: switch between the panning mode and the lock mode with single tap, double tap for the follow mode, triple tap for the selfie switch, quadruple tap for the auto-rotation mode.

Feiyu does a good job on stabilization, the gimbal shows the amazingly smooth and stabilized movements in all modes. I think that the panning mode is not easy to handle, but the Feiyu G6 Plus surprised me. The images and videos keep stabilized with the panning mode.

If you want to take a selfie vlog, the selfie switch is suitable for you. Just click the function button three times in a row, the camera will rotate 180 degree in horizontal. Double tap trigger button can reset to default position. The rotation is fast, smooth and stable that will not affect the quality of shooting.

Battery:

The Feiyu G6 Plus gimbal is fueled by 5000mAh battery, which can be charged by Micro USB port. And the battery can last around 9 to 12 hours. It definitely can support outdoor shooting for a long time.

By the way, the Feiyu brand has their application called Feiyu ON. You can switch the shooting mode, adjust the focus, control the camera direction and edit the images or videos and so on.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Feiyu G6 Plus is an incredible gimbal. I like its light weight, easy operation, and stabilization. But I have to say that my arm feels fatigued when I hold the gimbal for a long time. I will more appreciate if the Feiyu brand can launch a lighter camera gimbal.

The first time I used it, I found something wrong with the Meizu HiFi Pro Amplifier, the voice is plain and the bass is weak. However, after three hours playing time, the sound quality has improved. The bass is strong, and the voice is clean.

It is sure that the CS43131 chipset is the reason of good sound quality of Meizu HiFi Pro Amplifier. Meizu Pro 6 Plus Smartphone has good sound quality, and the Meizu amplifier is better than it. The amplifier performs well in low end, it is powerful and is enough to frighten my ears. This device is perfect for listening to popular music. As the soundstage of B&O A8 is wide, you will feel the voice is far from you. In the middle end, the performance of female voices is better than male voices. In the high end, the highs are pretty crisp and clean. To my surprise, there is no distortion in the high end. For this price, it is value for money.

By the way, when the amplifier is in use, the heat would generate in it, but it is not serious.

Recently, there are so many TWS earphones at the market. It is not easy to pick a good but budget earphones. Astrotec is one of the most famous earphone manufactures in China, and I got their latest product called astrotec Redspace S80 Earphones several days ago. Let’s check it out.

Unboxing:

The astrotec S80 Earphones ship with a charging case, a storage bag, eartips of different size, Type-C charging cable and manual.

Design:

Astrotec Redspace S80 Earbuds have a simple design without physical buttons. The solid support of the earphones is a little bigger than Xiaomi Redmi AirDots. As the earbuds are made of plastic, they are light, so my ear canal doesn’t feel pressure from eartips. Because of my small ears, I can feel the big solid supports obviously touching outer area of ears, which makes me feel a little uncomfortable. However, thanks to the big solid supports, the earbuds can firmly stay in my ears, even I shake my head. So I will swallow the big solid support.

The charging case of astrotec S80 earphones comes with a fabric box and aluminum lid. I do like the touch feeling of the fabric box. In terms of sealing, this charging case is better than the others, because the lid is a bit difficult to open. With an oval shape, it has a medium size that is easy to take it out.

The astrotec S80 earbuds come with virtual key, which is easy to operate. Like most of the TWS earphones, the S80 supports phone call mode, music mode and voice assistant wake-up. In terms of phone call mode, Quick touch 2 times means reject or hang up phone calls, one touch means answer phone call. In the music mode, touch the right/left earbud for 2s to skip track forward/backward when playing. Touch the right/left earbud 2 times to plus/minus volume. Just touch the earbud 3 times can arouse the voice assistant.

Running on Bluetooth 5.0, the S80 TWS Earphones has solid wireless connection in a range of around 30 feet.

Performance:

To check the performance of astrotec S80, we played a lot of songs with lyrics as well as complex music. It’s punchy in the low end, but is not enough to frighten my ears. The S80 doesn’t have the much powerful thumping effect. I think it is good, because the bass is not my priority.

If you like to listen to lyrical songs, you may like the astrotec S80 TWS Earphones. Vocals are clear, which deliver more details. However, it also has the same problem on the other budget earphones. In the high end, it has a minimum amount of distortion although the highs are pretty crisp. But for this price, I think it’s okay.

In terms of voice calling, the voice has a bit of distortion, and it is not as clear as using the phone speaker.

Battery:

The battery life of astrotec S80 Earbuds is about 5 hours, which can be used for about 25 hours with the charging case.

Conclusion:

The astrotec S80 TWS Earphones have a simple design and a beautiful charging case. The most important is that the S80 has a great sound quality. Although the quality of calling voice is not so good, the overall performance is great.

I was shocked by the OUTXE W20 Power Bank when I saw it firstly. The power bank comes with premium material, which is solider than all power banks I have ever seen. And it is also the heaviest power bank I have ever used. It is a cool power bank with almost all-black color and red.

On the front side, there is a lightning logo in the middle, which is a wireless charging output. Smartphones can be charged if you place devices center onto the lightning logo. The power button is placed on the above of the lightning logo, and there are six LED indicators beside it. The first five LED lights are the battery indicators, and the last LED light is the solar panel charging or wireless charging indicator. Between the power button and the lightning logo, there is the OUTXE logo with red color, which is standing out.

Why is it called Solar Power Bank? Look at the rear side. There is a solar panel on the backside, acting as an emergency backup once your power bank is running out of battery. It is amazing that the solar panel will charge the power bank automatically if you put it under direct sunlight.

The OUTXE claims that the W20 power bank is designed with IP67 rating for waterproof and dustproof. I totally believe it because of the firm waterproof lid placed on the top of the power bank. The waterproof lid is not easy to open, that is the most important reason for me to trust its waterproof and dustproof rating. Under the lid, there is a smart USB output and a quick charge output.

On the left side of the OUTXE W20 power bank, there is a Type-C input and Micro USB input covered by a firm waterproof lid.

There is a LED light on the bottom of the power bank, which comes with three modes.

Capacity:

OUTXE aims to position the W20 power bank as the best outdoor power bank for modern travelers. In my opinion, the most important thing for an outdoor power bank is the battery capacity. Performance:

As mentioned above, the W20 power bank comes with dual outputs ports, which can charge for two devices at the same time. When using both outputs simultaneously, the maximum power of the power bank will be limited within 24W to control the temperature of the product. The security mechanism is necessary for the large capacity power bank.

What’s more, with the dual input ports, the power bank supports a fastest possible recharging rate around 6.5 hours. By the way, my own power bank, which comes with 10000mAh battery and one input port, takes about 10 hours for fully charged.

With the development of smartphone size, most of users have no more need of tablets. But for me, tablet is an important device. Alldocube is well-known for its affordable tablets in the market, and I got the Alldocube iPlay10 Pro Tablet several days ago. Let’s check it out.

Design:

In terms of the appearance design, the ALLDOCUBE iPlay10 Pro is good but not surprising enough. Look at its front side. The edge of the tablet is wider than Xiaomi Mi Pad 4. But actually, I do appreciate at the wider edges more, as it can prevent mistakenly touching. The iPlay10 Pro comes with a 10.1-inch IPS full screen having the resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, while the ppi is only 225. Although the color effect and the image quality are not bad, the visual effect is not so good.

The front camera is set at the middle of Landscape display, which position is different from most of the tablet camera set at the Portrait display middle position.

From the back side of the Alldocube iPlay10 Pro, it ships with premium aluminum material, which is textured and solid, and the silver gray color looks beautiful. On the top of the rear side, there is a camera with a flash light. The ALLDOCUBE logo is printed on the middle of back side.

The power button and the volume button are placed on the right sidebar. And a Micro USB 2.0 Port supporting OTG, network sharing and charing, a 3.5mm DC Port supporting charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack are set on the top of the side. The Alldocube iPlay10 Pro also ships with dual stereo speakers on the bottom side, which provide pleasant sound experience.

Display:

Nowadays, we usually use the tablet to watch videos and play games for entertainment. But for me, I use the tablet to watch videos rather than play games because of the large screen size, which is not easy to hold it for a long time.

The display shows details clearly and reproduces colors well whatever the brightness. During the test time, I used it to replace my phone to watch video, and I play games with my phone at the same time. It’s a great device for relaxing.

Performance:

Alldocube iPlay10 Pro comes with Mediatek MT8163 processor, which is one of the most popular processor used in tablets. The Alldocube tablet arrives with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and it also supports Micro SD card up to 128GB.

Thanks to the MT8163 processor, it’s easy for the tablet to run the applications smoothly. Most of the time, you will have smooth and fluent feel and experience. However, because of the 3GB of RAM, the iPlay10 Pro would have a few glitches when turning on multiple applications. If you just think of it as an entertainment device, the glitch is not a matter.

Camera:

The Alldocube iPlay10 Pro is equipped with 5MP rear camera supporting auto focus and flash, and 2MP front camera. The image quality is mediocre, which blurry problem and details lacking are obvious.

Two weeks ago, I tested the blurams Dome Pro camera, which performs well. Days ago, I got the blurams Home Pro camera, which doesn’t look like the Dome Pro. Let’s check it out.

The blurams Home Pro is made of plastic, which as quality as the blurams Dome Pro. But the appearance design is totally different. Look at the picture below, the blurams Home Pro comes with a base, and the camera is supported by a plastic stanchion with an adjustable stainless steel stick. In terms of the cylinder, on the front side, it comes with a lens, a sensor, a microphone and an indicator light. And there is a TF card slot placed on the profile.

At the back side, there is a speaker, a reset button and a USB interface.

The blurams Home Pro is easy to install. Before place the Home Pro on the wall, it’s important for you to make sure the APP has been downloaded and the camera has been added into. After making all the preparations, you can follow the steps to install the camera. Choose the best location where you exactly want to put the camera. Place the mounting tab on the wall and drill through it to make holes for making first. Aligning this IP camera with the mounting tab. Place the camera over the fastened mounting tab and rotate it until it’s locked and secured.

The image quality is good, and the viewing angle is about 131 degree, which can see more details. Actually, the main features of Home Pro are as same as the Dome Pro. They both support Two-Way Audio, Night Vision, Human Detection and so on.

For this camera, it’s worth mentioning that the Home Pro is capable of face detection. You can recognize the persons who appear, whether they are strangers or family members. It can keep the record for 30 days, so you can check the list of faces recorded by the camera to see what’s going on in the house. What’s more, you can receive notifications with the pictures of your children at the first time, and easily have a voice call with your children.

Conclusion:

I think the Home Pro performs well, and it is suitable to place at the living room. Because of the larger viewing angle, you can see more details of the living room. It’s a good thing to check what’s going on.

Place the camera over the fastened mounting tab and rotate it until it’s locked and secured.

You can live view the videos on the APP after doing the installation. Also, you can choose the setting options such as voice command, two-way audio, snapshot and video recording.

What’s more, the setting can be changed through the APP, such as night vision, device name, device switch, device microphone and so on.

The image quality reaches 1080P, which can watch and record more details than before. Turns on the night vision automatically in low light, the image still shows clearly even in the dark.

With the bigger display and higher resolution ratio, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 can show more details. What’s more, the display of Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is brighter than Mi Band 3, when I play outdoor games, I can see the details showing on the display clearly.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is built-in 77 themes, such as Overwatch, Ali the fox, Luo Xiaohei and so on.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 mainly provides the function of notification, swiping cards and sports health. All functions need to be used by Mi Fit.

The notification feature consists of calls, message, reminders and other frequently-used applications. Users can choose whether or not to reply the calls by Xiaomi Mi Band 4.

For me, I turn on the notification of calls and some applications. This feature is easy for me to not miss the important calls.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 has an NFC variant, so it can be used as a traffic card and an entrance card. What’s more, it can also work with Xiaomi Mijia smart door locks.

With the high resolution ratio, Xiaomi Mi Band 4 also supports Alipay with QR code.

Sport tracking is the main features of Xiaomi bracelet, which can figure steps and calories up. For Xiaomi Mi Band 4, it can monitor 6 sport modes, such as swimming, indoor running, outdoor running, exercise, cycling and walking. And it is also water resistant up to 5ATM (50 meters) and sports an upgraded 6-axis high-precision sensor to intelligently recognize different type of swimming strokes including Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 can accurately record information about sleep quality every night, including data on deep sleep and light sleep. The details can be checked on Mi Fit.

I have not always turned on the heart rate monitoring feature because of the high power consumption, which will reduce the battery life.

As the bigger and color display, Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is fueled by 125mAh battery, which is better than predecessors. And the weight of monitor is 10.7g, which is heavier than Xiaomi Mi Band 3.

In addition, Xiaomi Mi Band 4 and Xiaomi Mi Band 3 can use the same wrist strap, but they can’t use the same charger.

Although the charging contact has been placed at the rear side of the monitor in the Xiaomi Mi Band 4, it still needs to take out the monitor to charge.

Xiaomi’s AI assistant, called Xiao Ai, is installed in the Xiaomi Mi Band 4. Although Xiao Ai is not capable of speaking in Xiaomi Mi Band 4, but it can shows the information on the display.

The users need to swipe the screen to wake up Xiao Ai. Xiao Ai can also work with IoT devices. You can call Xiao Ai to turn on the light or fan.

Last year, vivo announced Z series, which focus on online market with high cost performance. Last month, vivo released the latest smartphone with a punch-hole screen and 5000mAh big battery, called vivo Z5x. Let’s take a look.

Design:

Vivo Z5x comes with a punch hole display, which is the realization of full screen.

Vivo Z5x ships with 6.53-inch LCD screen, having the resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It is worth mentioning that diameter of the punch hole is only 4.59mm, which is one of the best designs of punch hole screen. There is a 16MP front-facing camera in the punch hole.

The handset is pretty much bezel-less. Although the bottom bezel is a little bit wider, the screen-to-body ratio is still up to 90.77%.

Subject to the market positioning, vivo Z5x adopts plastic rear cover. But it also looks good.

We get the Extreme Night Black variant, which is in gloss finish without any gradient color.

Also, vivo Z5x offers another two color variants, which are Phantom Black and Aurora.

The thickness of the handset is about 8.85mm, and the weight is 204g. In consideration of its 5000mAh battery, the vivo Z5x is not heavy.

Vivo Z5x is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset, which is popular in affordable smartphones.

Based on Snapdragon 710 chipset, vivo Z5x also comes with Multi-Turbo tech, which optimizes for heat dissipation, AI capabilities, games and others.

Vivo Z5x is fueled by 5000mAh battery, which performs well in battery life.

In our test, the vivo Z5x can be charged every two days in moderate use.

The handset comes with Micro USB port with 18W fast charging.

Vivo Z5x is equipped with 16MP main camera with f/1.78 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP field of depth lens. The rear camera supports handheld night mode, Super HDR, noise reduction and so on.

Vivo Z5x arrives with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.
