Elephone took the wraps off its long-awaited U Pro smartphone in February 2018. The Vivo X20 smartphone was launched back in September, last year. Here’s a rundown of how the two well-received smartphones are different on the basis of design, hardware, and price.
The U Pro sports an appealing metal mix and glass body design along with an AMOLED, FHD+ curved edge (2160 x 1080 pixel) display. It comes with Gorilla Glass 5 that offers additional protection to its 19:9 full view display.
In addition to a fingerprint scanner, there’s a 13MP + 13MP dual camera mounted on the back. The U Pro sports an 8MP camera for selfies in the front.
The phone’s dimensions are 6.06 in x 2.85 in x 0.33 in (LxWxH) and its weight is 166 grams. It is currently up for grabs in two color choices including black and blue.
The Vivo-branded X20 smartphone is housed in a robust aluminum alloy body. It features an eye-catching bezel-less super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
The X20 sports a 12MP + 12MP dual camera setup on the back for the photography enthusiasts. There’s a fingerprint scanner along with a 12MP camera placed in the front.
The phone’s length is 155.85 mm, its width is 75.15 mm, height is 7.2 mm and its weight with battery is 159 grams. You can choose from 3 color options including rose-gold, black, and gold.
The Elephone-made U Pro smartphone packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, 64-bit processor, under the hood. Aside from that, it uses a Qualcomm Adreno 512 graphics processing unit.
It offers 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal memory that supports MicroSD (TF) external storage up to 128GB. The U Pro draws its juices from a built-in 3,550mAh Lithium-Polymer battery that delivers up to 289 hours of standby time and up to 14.7 hours of talk time.
The Elephone U Pro comes with 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. On top of that, it features all sorts of sensors including a proximity sensor, gyroscope sensor, accelerometer sensor, fingerprint scanner, and an e-compass sensor.
The Vivo X20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 MSM8956 Plus, 64-bit processor and it packs a Qualcomm Adreno 512 GPU, under the hood. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable internal memory (up to 256GB via SIM 2 slot).
It comes with a hybrid dual-SIM (nano + nano/microSDCard) slot with dual standby and is backed by a 3,245mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. The built-in cell is capable of delivering up to 290 hours of standby time and up to 11 hours of talk time.
The X20 has 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. Apart from that, the phone boasts an array of useful sensors such as proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass, ambient light, gyroscope, and a fingerprint sensor.
