The much-awaited HTC Desire 12 Plus Android 4G smartphone was launched on March 21, 2018. The equally anticipated Asus Zenfone 5 Lite S630 smartphone was launched on March 19, 2018. Here’s a brief comparison between the two recently-released smartphones on the basis of their design, hardware, and price.

The Desire 12 Plus smartphone bears an eye-catching aluminum body design with dimensions of 6.23 in x 3.01 in x 0.33 in (LxWxH). Weighing in at 157.5 grams (with battery), the HTC-branded smartphone is up for grabs in three color options including black, silver, and gold.

The Zenfone 5 Lite S630 smartphone, on the other hand, is housed in a robust metal and glass body. The phone’s dimensions are 75.0 mm x 158.0 mm x 8.2 mm (LxWxH) and it weighs in at 168 grams (with battery). You can choose from black, white and red color versions of the smartphone.

The Desire 12 Plus smartphone packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SDM450, 64-bit processor along with an equally potent Adreno 506 GPU, under the hood. The phone offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 400GB using Slot 2.

The phone is backed by a non-removable 2,965 mAh Lithium-ion battery which offers up to 518 hours of standby time, and up to 25.6 hours of talk time with up to 1.8 hours of charging duration. Furthermore, the Desire 12 Plus comes with microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC card slots.

Moreover, it sports multiple sensors such as proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It uses a single memory channel.

The Zenfone 5 Lite S630 smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, 64-bit processor and it uses a Qualcomm Adreno 508 graphics processing unit. The phone offers 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable internal memory (up to 2TB).

As far as card slots are concerned, the Zenfone 5 Lite S630 smartphone features microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. Aside from that, it features several sensors such as proximity sensor, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, compass sensor, and light gyroscope.

The phone draws it juices from a 3,200 mAh Li-Poly (Lithium Polymer) battery which offers up to 576 hours of standby time, up to 30 hours of talk time and up to 2-3 hours of charging duration. This battery is non-removable.
