Huawei Y7 (2018) vs Nokia 7 Plus

Huawei Y7 (2018) will reportedly hit the store shelves on 08 April 2018. Meanwhile, Nokia took the wraps off its 7 Plus Android 4G smartphone on 09 March 2018.

As expected, Huawei has kept details about the 2018 iteration of the Y7 smartphone under wraps. However, there’s hearsay that the phone will be available in three color options including black, blue and gold. It will be housed in a metal and plastic mix body.

The dimensions of the recently-released Nokia 7 Plus smartphone are 75.6 mm x 158.4 mm x 8.0 mm and the phone is up for grabs in black and white color versions. Moreover, it is housed in a sturdy aluminum alloy and glass body.

The Y7 (2018) will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon, 64-bit processor and it will use a Qualcomm Adreno graphics processing unit. The phone will reportedly offer 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 256GB via SIM 2 slot.

Furthermore, it will be backed by a non-removable 4,000 mAh lithium-ion battery and will have microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC memory card slots. The phone will also include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass sensor, fingerprint sensor and compass.

The Nokia 7 Plus packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 MSM8956 Plus, 64-bit processor, under the hood. The phone uses an equally robust Qualcomm Adreno 512 GPU. It offers 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/64GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via SIM 2 slot.

The 7 Plus draws its juices from a non-removable 3,800 mAh lithium-polymer battery and feature 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. Moreover, the phone will boast a slew of sensors such as proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass, ambient light, gyroscope and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It remains to be seen what price tag the 2018 version of the Huawei Y7 will come bearing. However, if rumors doing rounds online are anything to go by, buyers will be able to get their hands on the hotly-anticipated smartphone without burning a hole in your pocket.

The recently-released Nokia 7 Plus smartphone, on the other hand, carries a price tag of about $479. You can check out the full comparison between Huawei Y7 (2018) and Nokia 7 Plus smartphones below.
