Ulefone Mix vs Elephone U

Here’s a brief comparison between the Ulefone Mix Android 4G smartphone which was launched in September 2017 and the Elephone U smartphone which was launched earlier this year. We’ll compare the two handsets on the basis of their design, hardware, and price.

Sporting a tri-bezel-less design, the Ulefone Mix smartphone is housed in a metal and glass body. This gives the phone an eye-catching cosmetic appearance.

The phone also sports sleek corners and curved back covers. This is further intensified by a bezel-less Super AMOLED HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display.

In addition to a 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup, there’s a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back. You can find a 13MP camera for selfies placed in the front.

The phone’s dimensions are 75.2 mm x 143.0 mm x 7.9 mm (LxWxH) and it weighs in at 168 grams (with battery). You can choose between 3 color options including black, turquoise, and blue.

The Elephone U smartphone is housed in a metal mix and glass body. Moreover, it sports an AMOLED, FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) curved edge display with Gorilla Glass for added protection.

There’s a 13MP + 13MP dual camera setup coupled with a fingerprint scanner on the back. Selfie addicts have been given something to cheer about in the form of an 8MP front shooter.

As far as dimensions are concerned, the Elephone U comes with a length of 6.06 inches, a width of 2.85 inches and height of 0.33 inches. The phone weighs in at 160 grams and it is available in blue and black color versions.

The Ulefone Mix smartphone packs a powerful MediaTek MT6750T, 64-Bit processor along with an equally robust ARM Mali-T860 MP2, 650 MHz, 2-Cores GPU, under the hood. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable memory (up to 256GB via SIM 2 slot).

It comes with a hybrid dual-SIM (micro + nano/microSD) with dual standby. The Ulefone Mix is backed by a non-removable 3,300mAh Lithium-Polymer battery which offers up to 296 hours of standby time and up to 14.4 hours of talk time.

Moreover, the device has 3 card slots i.e. microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC. The phone features multiple sensors including a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, compass sensor, and a fingerprint sensor.

The Elephone U smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6763 (Helio P23), 64-bit processor, and it employs an ARM Mali-G71 MP2, 770MHz GPU. The phone offers 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM that can be expanded up to 128GB.

The dual-SIM (nano + nano) smartphone offers dual standby. It draws its juices from a built-in 3,620mAh Lithium-Polymer battery that delivers up to 246 hours of standby time, and up to 12.1 hours of talk time.

You can find 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC in the Elephone U smartphone. It comes with a broad range of sensors such as proximity sensor, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, gyroscope sensor, accelerometer sensor, and an e-compass sensor.

The Ulefone Mix smartphone will set you back about $160. The recently launched Elephone U smartphone, on the other hand, comes bearing a price sticker of about $325 and $371.
