Xiaomi launched its long-awaited Mi Mix 2s smartphone in March 2018. The equally-anticipated UMiDIGI S2 Pro smartphone, on the other hand, was launched back in September, last year. Let’s compare the two phones on the basis of their design, hardware and price tags they carry.
Sporting a borderless design, the Mi Mix 2s is housed in a robust aluminum alloy and ceramic body. This is further complemented by an LCD IPS (1080 x 2160 pixels) FHD+ screen.

The recently debuted Mi Mix 2s smartphone packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with a Qualcomm Adreno 630 graphics processing unit, under the hood. The device has 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB non-expandable ROM.
The phone is backed by a 3,400 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. This non-removable cell delivers up to 300 hours of standby time and up to 15 hours of talk time.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi-branded dual-SIM (nano + nano) smartphone has a broad range of sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, barometer, hall, step detector, step counter, and a front-mounted ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. There are no card slots available.
The UMiDIGI S2 Pro smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757T, 64-Bit processor and it employs an ARM Mali-T880 MP2, 900GHz, 4-Cores GPU. The phone offers 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal memory that can further be expanded up to 256GB using SIM 2 slot.
It features a hybrid dual-SIM (nano + nano/microSD) slots with dual standby. Moreover, the device comes with 3 card slots including microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC.
The S2 Pro is crammed with all sorts of sensors such as proximity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor, compass, and gyroscope. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
