Sporting a 5.99 inches FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Android 4G smartphone was launched on February 14, 2018.

The Redmi Note 5 AI, on the other hand, is slated to hit the store shelves this year on March 20. The phone is likely to feature a big 5.99 inches IPS, FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro boasts an eye-catching aluminum alloy body design and its dimensions are 75.5 mm x 158.5 mm x 8.0 mm. Moreover, the device weighs in at 181 grams (with battery). It is currently available in gray, gold, black, blue and rose-gold color options.

The upcoming Redmi Note 5 AI smartphone will be housed in a robust aluminum alloy body and it is expected to have dimensions of 6.24 in x 2.97 in x 0.32 in. Furthermore, the phone is speculated to weigh in at 181 grams (with battery). If previously surfaced reports are anything to go by, it will be available in several color options including gold, black, blue, and rose-gold.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 64-bit processor, under the hood. Aside from that, it has a Qualcomm Adreno 509 graphics processing unit.

The well-received Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone offers 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB/64GB of internal memory, which can further be expanded up to 128GB via SIM 2 slot. On top of that, it comes with microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC card slots.

The phone features a slew of important sensors as well. For instance, there’s proximity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, compass, gyroscope, and hall.

The yet-to-be-released Redmi Note 5 AI smartphone is also likely to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, 64-bit processor if latest rumors are anything to go by. Moreover, the phone will reportedly come with an Adreno 509 GPU.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 5 AI smartphone offers 3GB/4GB/6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable onboard storage (up to 128GB via SIM 2 Slot). In addition to that, it will come with a myriad of card slots such as microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC.

The phone will feature multiple sensors including a proximity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor, fingerprint ID (rear mounted), compass, gyroscope, and hall sensor. It will be backed by a built-in 4,000 mAh Li-Poly (Lithium Polymer) battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone can be purchased in shopping stores by shelling out about $280. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI smartphone is expected to bear price tags of about $173, $221 and $268 (based on specifications).
