Honor Magic V5 has been officially released on July 2, 2025.
The device is a premium foldable smartphone boasting a futuristic design and powerful internals. It features a massive 7.95-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 5000 nits peak brightness. The outer display is a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED, also reaching 5000 nits, protected by Honor’s Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield.
Both screens offer stunning visuals with over 400 ppi density. Running on Android 15 with MagicOS 9, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm) chipset and Adreno 830 GPU, ensuring ultra-fast performance. You get up to 1TB storage with 16GB RAM, although there’s no memory card slot.
Camera capabilities are flagship-grade, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 64MP periscope telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Both selfie and cover cameras are 20MP with support for 4K video. The foldable phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, NFC, infrared, and Wi-Fi 7.
Honor Magic V5 supports stylus input and includes advanced features like Circle to Search. Battery options include 5820mAh (global) or 6100mAh (China) with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and reverse charging. It’s IP58/IP59 rated for water and dust resistance, and comes in four premium colors.
