Honor Play 80 has been officially announced on April 1, 2026.
This Android 15 smartphone is designed for everyday usage with a lightweight and practical build. It measures 167 × 77 × 7.9 mm and weighs 186 grams, making it relatively comfortable to hold despite its large display. The device supports dual Nano-SIM functionality. It features a 6.75-inch TFT LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling compared to standard 60Hz panels.
The resolution is 720 × 1600 pixels with a pixel density of around 260 ppi, and brightness reaches up to 450 nits, suitable for basic indoor and moderate outdoor visibility. Running on Magic OS 9 based on Android 15, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU ensures stable performance for daily tasks.
It offers multiple configurations with up to 256GB storage and up to 8GB RAM. The camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, capable of recording 1080p video, and a 5MP front camera for basic selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD support, GPS, and USB Type-C.
Honor Play 80 also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio. A 5300mAh battery powers the device, supported by 15W charging and 2.5W reverse wired charging, making it suitable for all-day usage under normal conditions. It is available in Black, Blue, and Azure color options.
