Huawei Mate 40 is officially announced on October 22, 2020.
The device is powered by the Kirin 9000E 5G Octa-core processor while the GPU is Mali-G78 MP22. The smartphone comes with a 6.5 inches OLED, HDR10+, 90Hz, and 1080 x 2376 pixels resolution.
The dimension of the device is 158.6 x 72.5 x 8.8 mm while it weighs 188 grams. It is IP68 dust/water resistant and built with a glass front, glass back, and aluminum frame.
The rear camera consists of a 50 MP (wide) omnidirectional + 8 MP (telephoto) optical zoom + 16 MP (ultrawide) while on the front there is a 13 MP single camera. The main camera consists of Leica optics, LED flash, panorama, HDR, and on the front, it features HDR and panorama.
Huawei Mate 40 includes sensors such as Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum.
The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Po 4200 mAh battery + Fast battery charging 40W. It comes in colors such as Mystic Silver, White, Black, Green, and Yellow. The phone runs on the Android 10.0 + EMUI 11 operating system.
