Huawei Nova Y72S was officially released in April 2025.
This smartphone offers a balanced mix of performance, battery life, and display features in a sturdy form factor. Measuring 168.3 x 77.7 x 8.9 mm and weighing 207g, it has a sizeable 6.75-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1600 resolution (~260 ppi). While not Full HD, it provides decent visuals for everyday use and multimedia consumption.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset (6nm) with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 610 GPU, the device is well-suited for light gaming and multitasking. It runs on Android 12 with EMUI 14 but lacks Google Play Services. Huawei Nova Y72S comes in two RAM/storage variants: 128GB with 8GB RAM and 256GB with 8GB RAM, though there’s no microSD card slot for expansion.
The dual rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens, capable of 1080p video recording. The 8MP front camera is sufficient for selfies and video calls. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo loudspeakers, and NFC support. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. The standout feature is its massive 6000mAh battery, which supports 22.5W wired charging for long-lasting use. Available in Blue and Black.
