Lenovo Tab K9 was officially released in March 2025.
The device is a compact and lightweight tablet designed for everyday use, measuring 211 x 124.8 x 8.5 mm and weighing 320 g. Built with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back, it comes in both Wi-Fi and cellular models (Nano-SIM supported). The 8.7-inch TFT LCD offers 800 x 1340 resolution with a 5:3 ratio and ~179 ppi density, delivering decent clarity for reading, browsing, and media.
Lenovo Tab K9 also features Mohs level 4 protection for basic durability. Running on Android 14, it is powered by the Mediatek Helio G85 (12 nm) chipset, with an octa-core CPU (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, ensuring smooth multitasking. Storage options include 64GB or 128GB with 4GB RAM, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot.
For imaging, it has an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus capable of recording 1080p video, while the 2 MP front camera supports 720p video. Audio is enhanced with stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos, alongside a 3.5mm jack and FM radio. Connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS support on the cellular model. A 5100 mAh Li-Ion battery with 20W wired charging powers the tablet, available in Luna Grey and Seafoam Green.
