Oppo A79 has been officially released on Oct. 28, 2023.
The smartphone is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 6020 Octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device runs on Android 13 + ColorOS 13.1 operating system. The device is packed with 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage, which can be increased with microSDXC.
Oppo A79 consists of a dual-camera setup: 50 MP (wide) + 2 MP (depth) sensors. On the front, there is an 8 MP (wide) camera for clicking selfies. The size of the display is 6.72 inches IPS LCD while the screen resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display is protected by Panda glass.
It supports Dual SIM and is fueled with Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + 33W wired, 51% in 30 min (advertised). The device comes in two colors: Mystery Black, Glowing Green. The sensors include a side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
The dimension of the smartphone is 165.6 x 76 x 8 mm and it weighs 193 grams. Additionally, it comes with IPX4 splash resistant, and Bluetooth 5.3. It also features Wi-Fi, GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS, and USB Type-C 2.0, OTG.
