Sharp Aquos sense9 has been officially released on Nov. 7, 2024.
The device measures 149 x 73 x 8.9 mm and weighs 166g, featuring a glass front, aluminum frame, and aluminum back. It supports Nano-SIM + eSIM, is IP68 water/dust resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 min), MIL-STD-810H/G compliant, and drop resistant up to 1.2m. The 6.1-inch LTPO IGZO OLED display offers 1B colors, 240Hz refresh rate, 1500 nits (HBM), and 2000 nits peak brightness with a 1080 x 2340 resolution (~422 ppi).
It runs on Android 14 with 3 major updates, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset, Octa-core CPU (4×2.40 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55), and Adreno 710 GPU. Storage options include 128GB 6GB RAM and 256GB 8GB RAM with microSDXC support. The dual-camera setup consists of 50 MP (f/1.9, OIS, PDAF, wide) and 50 MP (f/2.2, ultrawide, PDAF), while the 32 MP selfie camera supports gyro-EIS video recording.
It features stereo speakers, no 3.5mm jack, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB-C 3.2 (DisplayPort 1.4). Security includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 5000 mAh battery supports 36W wired charging. Available colors: Black, White, Green, Coral, Greige, Blue.
