Sharp Aquos wish5 has been officially released on June 26, 2025.
This rugged smartphone measures 166 × 76 × 8.8 mm and weighs 187 g. It features a glass front, plastic back, and frame, with IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance (including high-pressure jets and submersion up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes), plus MIL-STD-810H compliance and drop resistance up to 1.2 m.
The 6.6″ IPS LCD offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and 720 × 1612 resolution (~267 ppi), delivering an 82.9% screen-to-body ratio. Running Android 15 with two major upgrades promised, Sharp Aquos wish5 uses a 6 nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with an octa-core CPU (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
Storage options range from 64GB/4GB RAM up to 256GB/8GB RAM, all expandable via microSDXC (UFS 2.1). The dual rear camera setup includes a 50 MP wide lens with PDAF and a 2 MP depth sensor, supporting HDR, panorama, LED flash, and gyro-EIS video. The front camera is 8 MP wide with 1080p@30fps video.
Features include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The 5000 mAh battery supports 27W wired charging. Available colors: Black, Blue, White, Green, Pink.
