Tecno Camon 50 Ultra has been officially announced on March 2, 2026.
This Android 16 smartphone combines a sleek design with strong durability and modern hardware. Tecno Camon 50 Ultra measures 162.4 × 77 × 7.4 mm and weighs 178 grams, making it relatively slim and lightweight. The build includes a glass front protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a Gorilla Glass 7i back panel, and a plastic frame.
The device carries IP68/IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, allowing protection against high-pressure water jets and immersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. It is also MIL-STD-810 compliant for additional durability. The phone features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming for smoother visuals and improved eye comfort.
With a resolution of 1208 × 2644 pixels and around 429 ppi density, the screen delivers sharp images and vibrant colors. HDR10 support enhances video playback, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 adds extra protection. Running Android 16 with HIOS 16 and up to three major Android upgrades, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset built on a 4nm process.
It offers storage options of 256GB with either 8GB or 12GB RAM. The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 50MP front camera supports 4K video recording. Stereo speakers deliver Hi-Res audio. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, NFC, infrared, USB-C, and FM radio. The battery ranges between 6160mAh and 6500mAh with 45W wired charging.
