Tecno Pova 8 was officially released on July 1, 2026.
The device features a dual rear camera system with a 50MP primary sensor supporting PDAF for sharper everyday photography. An auxiliary camera assists the main sensor, while Dual-LED flash improves low-light shooting performance. The 13MP front camera supports video recording, and the rear camera records up to 1440p at 30fps.
A 6.76-inch IPS LCD display offers 1080 × 2344 resolution with approximately 381 ppi pixel density. The panel supports a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for responsive scrolling and gaming performance. A unique round matrix display on the back adds extra functionality and a distinctive visual identity.
Tecno Pova 8 runs Android 16 with HIOS 16 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. Its octa-core processor is paired with the Mali-G610 MC2 GPU for balanced gaming and multitasking performance. Storage options include up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage with up to 8GB RAM.
An 8000mAh battery provides extended battery life and supports 45W wired fast charging technology. The phone also supports 10W reverse wired charging for powering compatible accessories and other devices. It measures 165.7 × 78.5 × 8.8 mm, weighs 225 grams, and offers a solid in-hand feel.
Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared support, USB Type-C, OTG, GPS, and FM radio. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is complemented by a gyroscope, compass, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. The India variant also supports microSD expansion through a shared SIM slot.
IP64 certification provides protection against dust and water splashes during everyday use. MIL-STD-810H compliance adds an extra layer of durability, although it does not guarantee rugged performance. The device comes in Arc White, Graphite Black, Helios Orange, Echo Green, Bit White, and Terminal Green color options.
