The smartphone runs on Android v15 with an in-display fingerprint sensor, delivering both security and ease of use. It features a compact yet premium 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1200 × 2670 pixels, offering 465 ppi density for sharp visuals. The screen supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and reaches a stunning 5000 nits peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under harsh sunlight.
Xiaomi 16 also comes with shatterproof glass protection, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole design for a modern look. For photography, the phone is equipped with a powerful triple rear camera system consisting of 50MP + 50MP + 50MP lenses with OIS for stability. It supports 8K video recording at 30fps, ensuring cinematic clarity.
On the front, a 50MP camera powered by the LightHunter 900 sensor takes care of selfies and video calls. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, paired with an octa-core processor and 12GB RAM. It offers 256GB of internal storage, though there’s no memory card slot.
Connectivity features include 4G, 5G, VoLTE, Vo5G, Bluetooth v6.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB-C v3.2, and an IR blaster. The massive 7000mAh battery supports 100W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging. However, it lacks a 3.5mm jack and FM radio.
