The smartphone features a stunning 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with support for 68 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, making it one of the brightest displays in the market. With a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920Hz PWM dimming, visuals remain fluid and eye-friendly. It is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass for durability.
Running on Android 16 with HyperOS 3, the device is promised four major Android upgrades. Powering it is the advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset (3nm), paired with UFS 4.0 storage options ranging from 256GB/12GB RAM to 1TB/16GB RAM. Xiaomi 17 delivers premium audio with stereo speakers, Hi-Res certification, Qualcomm XPAN, and no 3.5mm jack.
For photography, it packs a triple rear Leica-powered camera setup: a 50MP wide sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom, and a 50MP 115° ultrawide lens. Features include laser autofocus, HDR, panorama, and dual-LED flash. Video recording supports up to 8K at 30fps, 4K Dolby Vision HDR, and ultra-high frame rate slow motion at 1920fps.
