The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max was officially released on September 25, 2025.
The smartphone is available in Black, White, Purple, and Green. It is powered by a 7500mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery, supporting 100W wired charging (PD3.0, QC3+, 100W PPS), 50W wireless charging, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging. Security and sensors include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, barometer, and Ultra Wideband (UWB) support.
Connectivity features comprise USB Type-C 3.2 with DisplayPort and OTG, NFC, infrared port, and advanced positioning via GPS (L1+L5), BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, GLONASS. Audio is delivered through stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, supporting 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio and Snapdragon Sound, although there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
The main camera system is a triple 50MP setup: wide (f/1.7, OIS), periscope telephoto (f/2.6, 5x optical zoom), and ultrawide (f/2.4, 102°). It includes Laser AF, color spectrum sensor, Leica lenses, dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama. Video capabilities span 8K@30fps, 4K@30/60/120fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240/960fps, and 720p@1920fps with gyro-EIS. The 50MP front camera supports 4K/1080p video, HDR10+, panorama, and gyro-EIS.
Performance is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) with an octa-core CPU (2×4.6GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix L + 6×3.62GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix M) and Adreno 840 GPU. Memory options include 512GB with 12GB or 16GB RAM and 1TB with 16GB RAM, using UFS 4.1.
Xiaomi 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, HDR10+, 3500 nits peak brightness, 120Hz, and 2160Hz PWM. A secondary 2.9-inch AMOLED display on the back also supports 120Hz, HDR, and Dolby Vision. Its build consists of Dragon Crystal Glass 3 front, aluminum frame, IP68 water and dust resistance, and dimensions of 162.9 x 77.6 x 8 mm, weighing 219g.
