Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 has been officially released on Jan. 29, 2026.
This Android 16 smartphone blends flagship display technology, powerful hardware, and a massive battery in a premium design. It measures 157.5 × 75.2 × 8.2 mm and weighs 204 grams. The build includes a glass front and aluminum frame, offering a solid and refined feel. It supports dual Nano-SIM and carries IP68/IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, including protection against high-pressure water jets and submersion up to 1.5 meters.
The 6.59-inch AMOLED display supports 68 billion colors and features a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. With a resolution of 1268 × 2756 pixels and around 460 ppi density, Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 delivers sharp detail. The panel includes 3840Hz PWM dimming and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid, reaching up to 3500 nits peak brightness.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process, the octa-core CPU pairs with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. Storage options range from 256GB to 512GB with up to 16GB RAM using fast UFS 4.1.
The dual rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens, supporting 4K video at up to 60fps and high-frame-rate Full HD recording. A 20MP front camera handles selfies. Stereo speakers support Hi-Res audio. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared, and USB-C. A large 7560mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 100W fast charging and reverse wired charging.
